When the Nocona Boot Company shut its factory in 1999, bootmaking in Nocona did not end. The Fenoglio family, in that town since 1886, kept the work going.
Fenoglio builds the traditional way: leather outsoles and insoles, stacked leather heels, wood peg construction. Boots are made to order in Nocona, and a Fort Worth Stockyards store opened in 2023.
