About Twisted X
Twisted X got its start in 2005 in Decatur, Texas. When Prasad Reddy took over as CEO in 2009, he bet the company on a simple idea: cowboys wanted comfort when they were out of the saddle. The answer was the Original Chukka Driving Moc, which debuted at the WESA show in Denver in January 2010 and became the first casual shoe the western industry truly adopted.
Comfort still drives everything Twisted X makes. Tech X brought CellStretch technology in 2017, and the western work boots pair alloy safety toes and waterproof builds with that same easy fit. The company went carbon neutral in 2020 and weaves recycled plastic bottles into its ecoTWX fabric.
