About Fringe Scarves

Jodi Weishaar Hendrickson grew up on a cattle and horse ranch in western South Dakota, where long days on horseback and evenings spent clipping fashion magazines shaped a style all her own. After a career in western publishing — including a stint as Publisher of Western Lifestyle Retailer — she started Fringe Scarves at a desk in her closet, designing every pattern herself and drawing on ranch life, rodeo tradition, and her mother Connie's influence.

Fringe was among the first brands to take wild rags beyond paisley and polka dots, working with western artists on original designs built around snaffle bits, conchos, cactus and wide-open country. Every scarf comes in two cuts — the Shorty for a compact neckerchief knot, and the Long-Tall for a classic wild rag wrap — in 100% silk, silk-cotton bandanas and poly chiffon twillies.

We carry Fringe Scarves at Nigro's because a good wild rag finishes a western outfit like nothing else, and every Fringe design gives our customers a story to tell along with it.
A good scarf is colorful, eye appealing and useful... but a great scarf tells a story!
