The American Heritage Moc Toe

Thorogood's most recognizable boot: oil-tanned American full-grain leather, a Goodyear storm welt you can resole, and the slip-resistant MAXWear Wedge outsole. We carry it in 6" and 8" heights, in Tobacco and Trail Crazy Horse, with soft-toe and safety-toe options.

About Thorogood

Thorogood started in 1892 as Albert Weinbrenner's cobbler shop in Milwaukee, making footwear for people who work with their hands. By 1917 the company was building job-fitted boots, a boot made for the work you actually do, and that idea still runs through the line.

The boots are still finished in union factories in Wisconsin by an employee-owned company. The American Heritage moc toe is the one most people know: a wedge sole made for long days on hard floors.

At Nigro's we carry Thorogood in both soft toe and safety toe, and we fit every pair in person.
