Cinch Kids Size Guide

Cinch Kids

Cinch sizes boys by age and inseam, not by waist.

Their chart gives the age range and the inseam for each size. If he’s between, go by the inseam — that’s the measurement that shows.

Boys’ jeans

Size Age Inseam
4 4–5 21–22″
5 5–6 22–23″
6 6–7 23–24″
7 7–8 24–25″
8 8–9 26–27″
10 10–11 28–29″
12 11–12 29–30″
14 12–13 31–32″
16 13–14 32–33″
18 14–15 34″

Jeans also come in Slim and Regular (4S, 4R and so on). Cinch don’t publish the waist difference between the two, so if he’s narrow through the hips, start with the Slim and we’ll check the fit.

Boys’ shirts and outerwear

XS 4–6 4–6
S 6–8 6–8
M 10 10–11
L 12 11–12
XL 14 13–14

Toddler and girls

Cinch make toddler sizes (3–6M through 4T) but publish no chart for them — their boys’ chart starts at a 4. And Cinch don’t make a girls’ line at all, so anything girls’ in the store is a different brand with its own guide.

Age and inseam figures as published by Cinch. No chest, waist or hip measurements are published for boys.
