Dan Post Men's Size Guide
Dan Post Men’s
Dan Post run true to size.
Their own words: “Our boots typically run true to size. We suggest ordering the same size you would normally purchase in a non-athletic style shoe.” Start at the size you take in a regular shoe, not a trainer.

Getting the fit right
| Check | What right looks like |
|---|---|
| Socks | Try them on with “the type and thickness of socks you plan to wear.” |
| Getting them on | Sit down. You should hear a soft “PLOP” as the foot settles in. |
| Ball of the foot | Sits on the widest part of the boot’s outsole. |
| Toes | “Your toes should gently touch the leather.” |
| Instep | Pinch the leather and run your thumb along it. A slight wrinkle is right; a large wrinkle means too loose. |
| Heel | “Some slight heel slippage is normal initially” — it goes as the boot flexes. |
Foot lengths and centimetres are Dan Post’s own, from their fit guide. Their chart stops at 16 — we carry 17 and 18 in a few styles, and Dan Post publish no foot length for those, so ring us rather than guess. We have left their EU and UK columns off: the UK column gives the same number for US 7½ and US 8, and we won’t reprint a column we can’t trust.
