Their own words: “If you’re in between sizes or on the cusp, we recommend going with the smaller size in Kimes Ranch jeans.” They also say “As a general rule of thumb, you’ll likely wear your smallest size in a high-rise fit and go up one size from that for a mid-rise fit.”

The rise is what separates these fits, not the size.

Audrey sits at 8″ and change; Monica at 12″. That is four inches of difference at the same tag size, which is the whole reason the same number fits so differently from one style to the next. Read the fit’s own row before you pick a number.

Two caveats on their Sarah chart: the leg-opening column does not run in order at the smallest sizes, and the 18 and 20 rows have no thigh or hip figure at all, so we have not printed those. They publish no chart for their tees, and ponchos are one size.

Inseams: Kimes do not publish an inseam on their size charts. It is listed on each product page.
