Kimes Ranch Women’s
Between two sizes? Kimes say take the smaller one.
Their own words: “If you’re in between sizes or on the cusp, we recommend going with the smaller size in Kimes Ranch jeans.” They also say “As a general rule of thumb, you’ll likely wear your smallest size in a high-rise fit and go up one size from that for a mid-rise fit.”
The fits, side by side
Kimes publish a separate chart for every fit, and the figures are the jean’s own measurements, not your body. There is no shared body chart across the fits. Everything below is taken at a tag size 8 so you can compare like with like.

The rise is what separates these fits, not the size.
Audrey sits at 8″ and change; Monica at 12″. That is four inches of difference at the same tag size, which is the whole reason the same number fits so differently from one style to the next. Read the fit’s own row before you pick a number.

All figures are Kimes Ranch’s own published garment measurements, from the per-fit charts at kimesranch.com/pages/size-chart and the size charts on individual product pages. Two caveats on their Sarah chart: the leg-opening column does not run in order at the smallest sizes, and the 18 and 20 rows have no thigh or hip figure at all, so we have not printed those. Kimes publish charts for many of their tops, sweaters, hoodies, dresses and jackets on each style’s own page — those are collected in our Kimes Ranch Women’s Tops, Dresses & Outerwear Size Guide. They publish no chart for their tees, and ponchos are one size.
Inseams: Kimes do not publish an inseam on their size charts. It is listed on each product page.
