Wrangler Men's
Buy by your waist measurement, not the size on your old jeans.
Wrangler jeans are sold waist × inseam in inches. Measure your natural waist with the tape level and use that number. The fit you pick matters more than the size — see the table below.

Specs as published by Wrangler. Dashes are figures they don’t publish. Thigh and knee measurements aren’t published for any fit.
The short version: the 13MWZ is the original — high rise, cut deliberately wide at the bottom to sit over a boot. The 936 is the same rise but slim through the seat and thigh. Retro and 20X sit low, have stretch, and are the easier wear if you’re not roping in them.
Rigid denim shrinks
The 13MWZ, 936 and 47MWZ are 100% cotton rigid denim. Wrangler’s own care guidance: heat “will gradually shrink a pure cotton jean by up to a full size over repeated cycles.” Cold wash, gentle cycle, air dry and they’ll hold their size. Run them hot and they won’t.
Wrangler don’t publish a shrinkage percentage or a size-up rule, so we won’t invent one — but if you plan to machine dry them, come talk to us before you pick a size.

Length over a boot
Inseams run 29 through 38 depending on style. Wrangler publish no height-to-inseam guide, but a Cowboy Cut is meant to stack on the boot, so most folks buy longer than their true inseam. If you’re unsure, bring the boots.
