Their own words: “Durango® boots fit true to size.” Order the size you normally wear. Durango add that you should try boots on later in the day, because “feet tend to swell during the day”, and wear “socks that you would normally wear to account for fit”.

Widths: D (medium) and EE (wide), shown on our site as D/M and EE/W. Most Durango men’s boots we stock come in both. A few — the brown harness boot among them — are made in D only, so check the width selector on the product page.

What a good fit feels like

Check	Durango’s guidance
Pulling on	“You should have a little resistance and need to pull slightly.”
Heel	“Some degree of heel slippage is normal in cowboy boots, but it shouldn’t be excessive.”
Ball of foot	“The ball of your foot should rest at the widest part of the boot’s forepart.”
Instep	Snug around the instep and ball of the foot, but “not uncomfortably tight”.
Toes	“Aim for about ½″ – 1″ of space between your longest toe and the boot’s tip.”

Three gaps worth knowing: Durango do not publish a foot-length-in-inches chart, only the conversions above; they publish no separate sizing rule for steel or composite toe boots, so we won’t invent one; and calf circumference is listed style by style on each product page rather than in a chart. A few styles run half sizes above 13 that Durango’s chart does not carry a conversion for. Widths listed are the ones we stock.

This is the men's 11" Burly Brown Waterproof Steel Toe Durango® Maverick XP™. This style is full-grain leather with a waterproof membrane bootie construction to keep your feet dry all day long. It features a soft mesh lining, the Durango® X-Pand System™ which is a hidden gore expansion on the inside medial seam for a universal fit and easy on/off and the Durango X-Treme Comfort footed with Memory Foam for all day comfort and support. It has a fiberglass shank for lightweight stability and a dual-density midsole with firmer shock absorbing heel for added stability and a soft shock absorbing forepart for ultimate flexibility and comfort. The rolled shank area and anti-torsion ridged external shank provides added lateral stability and the outsole is a multi-durometer rubber with high abrasion outer lugs for high impact durability and softer durometer mid lugs for added flexibility and increased slip and oil resistance. This style has a double row sole stitch, square toe, and a 1½" rocker heel. Break ground in this men's 11" Burly Brown Waterproof Steel Toe Durango® Maverick XP™ style.
